Ryan Field: A New Vision
November 13, 2025
Northwestern University and our construction partners, the Central Street Consortium, share construction updates, project highlights and more.

Construction update from the Central Street Consortium

Stadium construction is set to meet another major milestone in the coming weeks, as crews finish final steel erection and near completion of the roof canopy decking.

Inside the stadium bowl, workers are carefully positioning the final precast risers at field level, forming the last of the tiered seating structure, and have begun installing seats throughout the stadium. Work also continues to erect interior walls and install utility infrastructure both inside and out.

Outside, workers continue to wrap the structure in exterior sheathing, enclosing the stadium and setting the stage for the next phase of exterior finishes.
